Juicy stone fruit. Crisp greens. Creamy... cottage cheese? Yes, you read that right. We love soft Italian cheeses like Burrata and Stracciatella. But in the UK, they're a lot harder to find and can be quite expensive. Trust us, you can feel just as chic, elegantly dolloping cottage cheese on your summer salads. No burrata, no problem.
This hack is game changing. Move aside show-stopping cakes. We're here for the show-stopping cheeseboards and we're going to help you level up your summer grazing tables and picky bit...
What is Upcycling?
In basic terms? Using what you have. Upcycling is the process of repurposing waste to create something new.
In our case, we aim to eliminate food waste by using juice pulp, a byproduct which is typically thrown away. In order to make our granola, we upcycle apple juice pulp collected from cider and juice pressers in England.
For when you need a snack but it's too hot to cook or move much. Prepped in less than 10 minutes, make ahead for breakfast or snacks all heatwave week...
If spring were a salad, it would be this. Serve with a side of burrata, a glass of something fresh, or as the main event with a nice slice of crusty bread.
The dates on food packaging can often be misleading and it means that a lot of the time, we get confused by what we can and cannot eat.
To clarify - Best Before Dates are not the same as Use By Dates.
